Admin Assistant Job Description

Job Purpose Summary:
The Admin & Social Media Assistant will hold a key role at Neo Native, supporting the directors and team to operate efficiently and effectively.
Position reports to:
The Admin & Social Media Assistant will report directly to Naomi Fletcher (NN Director).
Required: A minimum of 14 hours per week
Commitment: A minimum of 6 months
Notice period: 1 month

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
To provide administrative support for courses, workshops and cultural event
– Returning calls and emails
– Keeping the team up to date with current industry news and events
– Organising and schedule team meetings/ appointments and event/ training attendance
– Updating and maintain the team diary in google suite
– Updating Eventbrite with NN events
– Update NN websites using WordPress
– Taking detailed minutes at Director and Team meetings
– Scanning & Electronic Filing
– Maintaining databases
– Copy typing
– Ordering office supplies
– Liaising with venues and suppliers and negotiating rates
– Liaising with staff, teachers, suppliers, clients and workshop hosts
– Updating monthly books and staff time sheets
– Updating and maintain the NN training handbook
Person Specification
– Proven experience as an administrative assistant
– Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel and powerpoint and google docs/ g-suite
– Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills
– Numeracy skills
– Social media marketing experience/ qualification
– Content writing experience
– Proofreading experience
– Self-Motivation
– Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
– Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have experience/ proficiency in using all or some of the following programmes:

– Photoshop
– WordPress

– MailChimp
